Tournament Format
How It Works
The Dooley-Dye Cup is a Ryder Cup-style team match play competition pitting Team Dooley (Georgia) against Team Dye (Auburn). Points are awarded across individual and team matches, with the overall series record tracked year over year.
Rules of Play
The Rules
All matches are governed by the USGA Rules of Golf with the following local conditions and Cup-specific provisions.
Match Play Format
All individual and team matches are contested under stroke-play handicap match play. Net scores determine hole winners.
Handicaps
Players use their current GHIN or verified handicap index. Handicap strokes are allocated per USGA guidelines on the scorecard.
Concessions
Putts, holes, and matches may be conceded at any time. Concessions cannot be refused or withdrawn once made.
Pace of Play
Groups are expected to maintain pace with the group ahead. Ready golf is encouraged throughout the round.
Disputes
Any rules disputes should be resolved by the Committee. The Committee's decision is final.
